Things I have learned while working on my photography.
Number 1 - This is totally important. Your digital camera is not waterproof. It
is not even water resistant.  I know you will want to go out on that whale
watching trip hoping for the most amazing shot - This is where I caution you.
(I lost my best camera this way... Oh so very sad!) It is easy to think you can
keep it dry, but for the greatest shot you are looking for a breach.  The breach
is what causes a grand wave to cover you in water, and your camera cannot
survive it.  With this said I have learned a great deal about water protection
for your camera.  On Amazon.com I found a cover for almost every camera out there.  They are ugly and somewhat pricey, but not as much it is to replace your camera, and having to live without it for such a long time. ( I still don't have a replacement, I am lucky to have a son who shares his great Nikon with me...)

Please  grab some coffee (or a tea , in my case) and enjoy viewing my latest work, a little about life in Madrid, New Mexico, my lavender farm, my dogs and wonderful husband Lyric, and getting a little peek into our life! I’m thrilled you stopped by!

Whenever I experience something beautiful, I am with Soul. That moment of inward breath, that pause and awareness of "how beautiful this is" is a prayer of appreciation, a moment of gratitude in which I behold beauty and am one with it.
