Stages of how I painted the Ram. He was such a great project. This guy took me a long time to finish, but he sold the same day he was placed in the gallery. Some projects are just worth it. I thought he was a labor of love! Each new color that I added gave me joy... When I got to the background I just wanted to give him a colorful sky... I grew up in Colorado and I used to the sheep along side the road and they fascinated me. Now it is my pleasure to paint them.

I have been enjoying the InsituArtRoom to display my art. Each day I have been getting more able to put my art into the rooms with ease and display them properly.
Having a great time playing with a new app on my phone that puts my artwork into to rooms to show clients on Instagram and Facebook. As most people know I am not that clever when it comes to technology... BUT I am teachable! Have a great day!
Thought I would share what I have been doing with you each day. Each day after I come back inside I have been sewing masks for a few of the local galleries. In New Mexico the Governor has requested that everyone wear one. Many people are coming in asking to buy them but they didn't have any. So I have been helping them out. I have had to learn a great deal... Thank you YouTube!!! But here are a few of my masks going to help them out! Hope you are staying healthy and safe! We will let you know when we have lavender bundles!!! I will be able to get back to painting after we finish cutting and drying these bundles. Stay safe and healthy! #farmlife #masks #lavender #watercolorpainting
I am wishing that I was dancing is Mexico today. I do love to dance. It is one of my favorite things. I took Tango lessons once and boy did they enhance my life... Today I have been thinking of dancing the Tango and enjoying all things Mexico.
Dolphins swimming in the bay.
I painted this one for a friend who came to help me plant on the farm. How sweet is that? Planting lavender for nothing... Ah well I had to give him something, His lovely wife said that he loved dolphins so this is what I sent to him. The lavender farm is doing really well I am just so tired trying to keep up with all things... love that I am able to be here! Thanks so much for being part of it all! Stay healthy!!!! #sealife #dolphins #oceans #watercolor #turquoisetraillavenderfarm #watercolorpainting #pennywinn |
