I've been learning a great deal about marketing this week. I've spent time on YouTube gleaning ideas about how to get people interested in my book. It seems that I need to start giving a few of them away on Amazon. They say that after I have 10 reviews that I should have a give away. So that will be my next big push. I currently have 5 reviews. So I am hoping that I can do the book give away sometime next week. I will keep you informed. Thank you all for reviewing and buying the book and keeping this big adventure going! How lucky am I to see these amazing images as I walk the beaches with my wonderful dogs! We were blessed with rain finally and the haze is starting to clear from poor Canada. ​Today was a pretty amazing day! I got to spend time with my wonderful friend Peggy. We went to the beach. While we were beach-combing I was contacted by several people who are reading my book; they just wanted to tell me how much they are loving the book, and how encouraged they are by it so far. Wow! that really made me feel nice. It really was so great to hear from them and know that they were enjoying my words and they were glad to be reading them. So much excitement at my house yesterday. The book arrived! I can't tell you how exciting it was to see it and hold it in my hands. It was pretty extraordinary. I was lucky enough to have my very dearest friend Peg visiting from Colorado so she was here for the unavailing, along with my husband Lyric who took the picture. I can't tell you how thrilled I was. I just had to share the whole book cover! How exciting! I am getting closer to scheduling my book launch. I am nervous but I think that it will go well. I am going to try to schedule one in Port Angeles and Victoria, BC at the book stores, at the library here in Forks, WA, and at the Seattle, VA hospital. I will also try to launch in Denver, Colo.
