This painting was selected for New Mexico Art in Public Places, Acclaimed Artist Series. They asked my permission to include the image in Part 2 of a series of posters with a message of thanks from veterans to front line workers and their families. To publish the image on a poster and in NM Arts social media.
This adobe on Canyon Road and Delgado is probably one of the most photographed and painted in Santa Fe, New Mexico because of it's unique qualities. I added the details that I would want if it were mine. I have recently moved to New Mexico and I am loving the sights and sounds and I am hoping that I am getting the feel in my paintings. This is an 14X11 watercolor on 140 lb paper.
