Running Wild
One of my favorite things to paint is horse portraits. I just can't get enough of painting horses. I look for inspiration all of the time. I have my camera on me whether it is my phone or my Sony so I can capture images of horses (or other wildlife) I just have to paint them. They inspire me! I am just drawn to them. I love the idea of being on them, riding them... but seeing them in the field alone is enough for me. I guess I will always be a cowgirl at heart! I used to live on a ranch we had cattle and people kept their horses there. I miss the horses and cows. So when I have time I paint them. This painting is an 11X14 on 140lb paper it is signed on the front and the back. It is matted in black to 16X20.framed in a brown wood frame.
