I've been working on painting and farming here in Madrid, New Mexico. I love the weather and spending my time just enjoying my time in the field when I am not painting new animals. Every now and again I get a commission to do something fun, I did a cool black and white of a man and a cougar, but it is for Christmas so I can't post it now. I will post it in January. So much fun going on here in New Mexico. Hope all is well with you!
Hi everyone! Forgive me for taking so long to BLOG. I have been really busy taking care of everything getting our new endeavor up and running. Well we are getting close! We are starting a LAVENDER FARM. It is called Turquoise Trail Lavender Farm! You can find us on Facebook, or Turquoisetraillavenderfarm.com. We really hope that you will come and see us. Once the lavender starts to produce we will have our products down in Madrid, New Mexico, in Santa, Fe and maybe as far as Denver, Colorado. So much to do a painting to finish and lavender to water! 2500 plants! YIPPEE!!!!
This year's Habitat for Humanity auction item was a mail box! It did really well! I hope that you were able to go out and support this wonderful cause! Each year they do so much for the community. I am not sure what I will be painting next year as I have moved to Madrid, New Mexico, and I don't know what the Habitat for Humanity does here or if they have an artist auction. I sure hope they do! I will keep you posted!
I have really been having a ball making epoxy furniture. This piece was headed to the trash. Now it is a show piece! Let me know what you think!
